We love sleep especially when we are in our youth days it feels like a perfect romance between you and your bed. Words can’t describe my love for Sleep. Sometimes this love is quite dangerous too; I’m pretty much sure we have gone through the stage where we were supposed to do work, but at that moment our sleep was at the top of the mountain. It’s definitely not easy to avoid sleep but if you are really into something and you want to finish it up, here are some practical ways to get yourself back on!

Get into an uncomfortable area
My mom used to tell me about her time that she used to sit down on her legs so that your body is not at ease. Try to open bit of a window so that a breeze of cold air is sticking you up in between (in winters of course). Or definitely, don’t sit on a bed to do anything other than sleeping. Try to study on a chair so that you have your back straighten up all the time. Studying in little uncomfortable will also help you to concentrate more on your studies. Trust me it will work!
Drink Water in between
Before sitting down to study, keep a bottle of water on your side. Some people even put sliced lemons in the bottle so that they feel more refreshing. Try to get a 2-3 sip after 20-25 minutes. It gives a quick break and helps to refresh and after 45 minutes or so you’ll need a break and try going to the washroom as well. Drinking water in between will also boost up your energy and improves productivity.

It’s definitely not the recommended one by everyone, but some people do better while listening up to the music. On the other side, it looks cool but actually distracts. Even when you are trying, go for low volume, and it’s much better if you are not going to the hip hop one. It refreshes you as you work along the beat and you get absorbed in the melancholy of the song which puts you in an active state rather than feeling sleepy.
Note – Don’t listen to rock or hip hop music.
Studying or finishing up your task when not in the mood or tired is really tough. Your body wants to rest, and you just see the bed in front of you. The only thing you need the most is the positivity and persistence to finish the job. Make sure you don’t feel lazy to put your work the next day. Try to watch some inspirational videos on YouTube that will keep you motivated toward your work.

Get up and Exercise
It often happens that you feel dizzy after all the efforts. This one never fails as it gives a new start. Stand up straight and shake your body in the best way you can or do a normal exercise by touching your feet with your hands. You can even do push-ups for a while to bring back the energy you have lost. This all might not last for much longer but definitely, gives you an additional 25-30 minutes.
Drinking energy drinks like Red Bull or Monster will help you to get rid of your sleep. But these energy drink should only be taken when you have a lot of work or freaking important work. Drinking lot of energies drink will eventually affect your body. So the guy’s it’s a request take energy drink only when your ass is completely on the red hot wire.
